Beth V. Milton (née Heaps), age 98, passed away peacefully in her sleep on November 18, 2025, in Georgetown, Texas. A lifelong resident of Pardeeville, Wisconsin, Beth was born on August 5, 1927, to Arthur and Beatrice (Smith) Heaps. She graduated as Salutatorian from Pardeeville High School and went on to marry Merwyn C. Milton on June 26, 1948, in Pardeeville. 

Beth dedicated her career to serving her community, working as a Secretary/Receptionist at the Wisconsin Game Farm in Poynette and later as a Secretary at Pardeeville Elementary School. She was a devoted wife and mother, and her faith was central to her life. Beth was an active member of the United Methodist Church in Pardeeville and later the North Scott Baptist Church in Pardeeville.

An avid reader, Beth also enjoyed cheering for her favorite Wisconsin sports teams—the Packers, Brewers, and Badgers. She cherished spending winters with her children: Jeff in Phoenix, Arizona, and Allen and Susie in Georgetown, Texas. 

Beth was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 68 years, Merwyn; her parents, Arthur and Beatrice Heaps; and her siblings Arthur Heaps, Jack Heaps, Lois Van Selus, and Marjorie Trumbower. 

She is survived by her children, Barbara (Daniel) Jerome of Dalton, Allen (Susie) Milton of Georgetown, TX, Jeff Milton of Phoenix, AZ, and Mitch (Cheri) Milton of Pardeeville; 14 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Beth is also survived by her brother Bob (Dianne) Heaps of Phoenix, AZ, as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family. 

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, December 6, 2025, at Grasse Funeral Home, 119 Industrial Dr, Pardeeville. Visitation will take place from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. A Service will held at 1:00 P.M. A reception will follow the service at the funeral home. Interment will be held at Pardeeville Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, gifts and donations may be made to the American Cancer Society and Agrace Hospice in memory of Beth.
