Bernice M. Mueller, age 92 of Reedsburg, (formerly of Lime Ridge), passed away peacefully March 20, 2025 at the Sauk County Health Care Center. Bernice was born August 22, 1932 in Monroe County (near Cashton, WI) to John and Clara Mlsna  (Herricks). She married La Verne Mueller on April 10, 1951 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Germantown, WI. 

Bernice was always willing to help when anyone was in need of a helping hand. She was a talented seamstress, great cook and caretaker. She absolutely loved babies and little kids. She worked very hard on the farm with Grandpa John and Grandma Clara. We will always remember how she loved to talk! 

Bernice is survived by her children, Nancy Mueller (Rich Richert), Diane (Don) Koenig, Steve Mueller (Luanne Honer); Five grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; brothers Cletus Mlsna of Deforest, WI, Eugene Mlsna (Marianne) of Pardeeville, WI and Dennis Mlsna of Blair, WI. 

Bernice was preceded in death by her husband La Verne in 2012; her parents, John and Clara Mlsna; sister Julia Fry; brothers Gerald Mlsna, Kenneth Mlsna and Gaylord (Butch) Mlsna; in-laws Dorothy Mlsna; Joe Fry; Sharon Mlsna; Donna Mlsna and Chris Mlsna. 

A private, family service of remembrance, to celebrate a life well lived, will be held on Saturday, March 29th, 2025 with Deacon Tom Fogarty officiating. A private burial will take place at a later date. 

The family would like to thank the kind and compassionate staff at Reedsburg Area Medical  Center as well as the staff at Sauk County Healthcare Center for their wonderful care. 

In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital would be appreciated.
