Arthur K. Sobczak, age 88, of Pardeeville, passed away Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born January 25, 1938 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Arthur and Grace (Grow) Sobczak.

Arthur married Carmen Sobczak, née Magestro, in Milwaukee. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineering. Arthur was the retired owner of the Mousehouse Cheesehaus and also retired as a Major with the Wisconsin National Guard.

He was a member of various wildlife and natural resources organizations and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Arthur especially enjoyed entertaining friends and family at his home on Park Lake in Pardeeville, where many cherished memories were made.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years Carmen Sobczak; son Arthur K. Sobczak III; daughter-in-law Dawn M. Gerz; son Anthony G. Sobczak; daughter-in-law Victoria L. Sobczak; grandchildren Arthur K. Sobczak IV, Kaitlin M. Pisk, Gustave A. Sobczak, and Nicoletta Oren; great grandchildren Arthur K. Sobczak V, Jadzia Sobczak, Hazel Pisk, and Cove Pisk. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Thomas Sobczak and sister Patricia Fuchs.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at 12:00 P.M. at Grasse Funeral Home in Pardeeville. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service on Wednesday.
