Arlene J. Babcock, 90 of rural Pardeeville, passed away Thursday, November 6, 2025 at Columbus Health and Rehab. She was born April 4, 1935 in Portage, the daughter of Harold and Myrna (Cook) Hepler. 

She attended Pardeeville area schools where she graduated from Pardeeville High School. Arlene was united in marriage to Mayne L. Babcock October 27, 1956 and along side her husband, ran the family farm. She was an active member of the Dual County Community Band, Cambria-Friesland Band, and the MATC Band where she played clarinet. In her free time, she loved to socialize over a good meal, taking road trips, and listening to Dixieland Jazz music. 

Survivors include her children; Ralph (Robin) Babcock, Katheryn Babcock, and Betty (Michael) Becker Cragg; grandchildren, Renae (Joe) Penland, Royce (Sara) Babcock, Charles (Lisa) Lange, Pamela Becker (Randy Gessner), Trish Becker (Nicholas Gudex), Amanda (Jon) Herbst; great grandchildren, Slayde Babcock, Cayden and Colten Penland, Ashley Abangon, Carly Abangon, Hadley Babcock, Matthew Kromrey, Ian, John, and Shaye Hutto, Jax Becker, Samantha and Tianna Cragg, Preston and Noah Lange, and Mackenzie, Benjamin, and Olivia Herbst. She is further survived by one sister-in-law, Bev Hepler. Arlene was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother Donald Helpler, and two nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 12 at Noon at Grasse Funeral Home in Pardeeville. Interment will follow at Inch Cemetery in Poynette. Visitation will be held from 10 A.M. until the time of service.
