Agnes Dickey Obituary
Agnes Dickey, 97, passed away peacefully Monday June 10, 2024. “Aggie” as she was fondly known to her friends and family, grew up in Oconto, graduating from Oconto High School in 1943. She went on to receive a nursing degree from Holy Family Hospital School of Nursing in Manitowoc.
In Manitowoc, she met her husband William Dickey and they married in 1948. For many years she worked as a pediatric nurse at Holy Family Hospital serving her community and raising her family of two boys and two girls. Through the years Aggie enjoyed golf, bowling, volleyball, line dancing, swimming and working out at the YMCA, gardening, watching the variety of birds at her bird feeders, and spending time with family and friends.
Agnes is survived by her four children: Dennis (Teresita), Michael (Pat), Maureen, and Sheila (Warren) as well as grandchildren and great grandchildren. Services will be Saturday, June 29 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church 8100 Brunner Rd. in Newton. The family will greet relatives and friends at the Church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m.
