Vivian Roundy Obituary

Vivian L. Roundy, age 103 of Portage, passed away Saturday, August 25, 2018 at the Tivoli Nursing Center in Portage.

She was born June 5, 1915 in Avard, OK, the daughter of Ethern and Violet (Skinner) Garveston. Vivian was a homemaker for most of her life and she also enjoyed crocheting and quilting.

Survivors include son Rodney (Rose) Roundy, daughter Carolyn Roundy, two sisters; Barbara Elliott and Della Davis, and one brother Teddy Garveston. She is further survived by four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Byron Roundy, son Charles Shepard, three sisters; Opal Giggy, Jean Calderan, and Geneva Young.

A memorial service with inurnment will be held in Kansas at a later date. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Tivoli for the care they gave Vivian.
