Terrance John Brussveen age 57 passed away on July 24, 2018 at Golden Years Assisted Living, where he resided. He was born on April 3, 1961 in Madison, WI.
Terry had a long struggle with diabetes and kidney failure, he fought hard but lost the fight. Terry was a very good friend to all that knew him. Everyone knew him by the name he most liked to be called “Teddy Bear”. Terry was a kind and compassionate person who always wanted to help whoever he could, and he did. Terry loved to see the happiness in everyone and would do anything for them. He loved to laugh, and he was always sharing jokes with friends and family.
Terry lived in the Wyocena area most of his life. Terry took great pride in his community and was a member of the Wyocena Volunteer Fire Department. He worked for the Township of Wyocena Recycling Center for over 15 years and enjoyed the many patrons that used the facility. His job was everything to him and he worked diligently up until he could no longer live on his own. Terry was a kind and loving soul that everyone would call a great friend. He made people happy with his very big heart!
Terry is preceded in death by his parents, Halvor and Marie Brussveen and Brother-in-Law, LeRoy Sordahl.
Terry is survived by his sister, MaryKay Sordahl of Janesville, Marlene (Marlynn) Scott of Rio, Harvey (Nola) Brussveen of Portage, and his twin brother Jerry (Sherry) Brussveen of Baraboo, and many nieces and nephews who will all miss him dearly.
Special thank you to all his care takers and friends who he loved at Golden Years Assisted Living and Hospice-St. Mary’s.
A private burial will be on September 15, 2018 at 11:00 am for family members and a Celebration of Life will follow until 4pm at the Wyocena Community Center, Wyocena, WI.
