Rev. William L. Horsman

Rev. William L. Horsman, 89 of Wyocena, passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at the Columbia Healthcare Center.

He was born February 3, 1930 in Iowa to Clarence and F. Lucille Horsman. He was united in marriage to Lois Bernander February 13, 1960 in Wyocena. William is a graduate of Buena Vista College and Northern Baptist Theological Seminary. He was very involved in the American Baptist Churches, was a former pastor in Iowa, and was a house parent at Central Baptist Children’s Home.

Survivors include son Rev. Steven (Karen) Horsman; daughters Susan Horsman and Pam Dolajeck; grandson Chris Dolajeck and cousin Allen Horsman.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Lois; brothers Clarence, Jr. Horsman, and Eldon Horsman; father and mother-in-law Oscar and Susanna Bernander.

Funeral services will be held Monday, March 18 at 11 AM at Wyocena Community Church in Wyocena with Rev. Mark Brandel officiating. Interment will follow at Wyocena Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:30 AM until the time of services at the church Monday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Columbia Healthcare Center Foundation. P.O.
