Lucille E. Ebert, age 100 plus, passed away Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Our House Assisted Living in Portage.
She was born June 7, 1917 in Portage to John and Nettie (Abel) Morgan. She was united in marriage to the love of her life Henry Ebert August 6, 1947. She was the loving mother of eight children.
She loved dancing, spending time with her family and enjoyed watching sports. Lucille was a caregiver at heart, taking care of others for most of her life.
Survivors include five children, Larry (Dee) Thompson, Duane (Marcia) Thompson, Nancy Borish, Nola (Roger) Branton, and Kevin (Margaret) Ebert; her beloved sister, Leora Tomlinson; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one daughter Judy Lewison, two sons Vernon Ebert and Harlan Ebert, and one granddaughter.
Funeral services will be held Monday, February 19 at 12 Noon at Wyocena Community Church with Rev. Mark Brandel officiating. Interment will follow at Wyocena Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9 AM until the time of services at the church. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the caring staff at Our House and the staff and “Doc” Tracy from Agrace Hospice for their care of Lucille.
