I am so sorry to hear of Jody's passing. She was a wonderful loving person. We met through our Eskimo groups and talked nearly everyday. When she didn't post I messaged her as she had said she was in bed unwell.. Prayers for her family and her 3 furbabies. Rest my friend!!

I am just devastated by this news. I only knew Jody online through our love of Eskies. I loved her posting about the antics of Vespa, Faraday and Kona. A month or so ago we actually talked on the phone. I feel like I have lost a good friend. Her heart seemed so caring and even though she had troubles her spirit shined bright. May you find comfort in her life which touched so many.

I am so very sorry for your loss. I have known Jody for several years. She was a joy to know and brought sunshine to everyone she encountered. Her knowledge of marketing and Computer management skills helped me everyday that we worked together. We have remained friends over the years since working together and just spoke In mid August. I am heartbroken over the loss of my loving and kind friend

I wanted to express my heartfelt condolences to Jody's family. For right now, there's no detour around grief, no shortcut through mourning. However, 2 Cor.4:7 says that God can give us, "... power beyond what is normal ", to go from one day to the next. This does not mean that we no longer cry, or that we forget. It means we recover. We recover because of our hope. Jesus Christ talked about our hope in John 5:28 which says, "... all those in the memorial tomb will hear his voice and come out ". Jesus was referring to the resurrection. That is our amazing hope! The Bible likens our hope to an anchor. Just like an anchor stabilizes a ship, our hope stabilizes us and keeps us from drowning in overwhelming sadness. 2 Cor.1:3 describes our Creator as, "... the God of all comfort ". One way that God comforts us is by moving people who care about us to give us words of encouragement that we need to hear. May the God of comfort be your comfort now, during this time of sorrow.
