Jay - I never knew what a father was supposed to be like much less a true family; my own father didn't want me & my home was always broken in some fashion or another. My closest father figure was my grandfather, my closest home my grandparents; then I met Andy, his family and you. You always loved each of your kids and your family was important to you. You accepted me as family and were there when I lost my grandfather. We may not have been super close, but I always loved you like a dad. You showed me what a family was truly like - there through thick & thin; never waivering, never abandoning, never forgetting, and always there.

These last few years you suffered from pain both physical and mental. You are finally set free. No more pain, no more memory loss - you're whole again. Watch over us all, especially the grandkids. I know you had people there with open arms welcoming you home. You earned your angel wings; fly high Jay. You are loved and will be missed.

Forever grateful to be your daughter-in-law and a part of your family,

Heidi

Jay I met you 20 years ago. You were a talker, and a comedian at times... You showed me what a dad was suppose to be.. You took me in, and showed me what family was.. I so love you and always will. These last 10 years of you life was a rollercoaster ride, but you made it through and now on your new journey.. It was my honor to take care of you, and I kept my promise. You stayed home and was with your family.. You mind might of forgot, but our hearts will always remember.. Fly high Jay, we all love you. RGang
