George L. English

George L. English, age 76 of Pardeeville, passed away Monday, July 9, 2018 at Meriter Hospital in Madison.

He was born June 4, 1942 in Madison, the son of Joel and Viola (Dahl) English.  George graduated from Central High School and proudly served his country in the United States Navy.  For 37 years, George worked in the engineering department at Meriter Hospital.  On July 28, 1995, George married Madge Kuhn.  His hobbies included camping, spending time at the cottage, and midget racing.

Survivors include his wife Madge; daughters Kelly Jeglum and Joan Workman; sons John English and Karl English; step-daughter Tracey Kuhn; step-son Bret Kuhn; 16 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his father and mother.

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, July 13, 2018 from 1 to 3 PM at Grasse Funeral Home, 119 Industrial Drive in Pardeeville, with military honors at 3 PM.
