Flavius E. Kuntz

Flavius E. (Ike) Kuntz, age 52 of Sun Prairie, passed away unexpectedly at home December 13, 2018. 

He was born on October 6, 1966 in Sterling, Illinois to Paul Kuntz, Sr. and Carol Ann (Isenhart) Hoge.  He married Susan (Risgaard) December 28, 1996 at Redeemer Lutheran Church, in Rio. Flavius was very proud to be part of the military and loved sharing stories of his experiences.

Flavius worked in construction his whole life and was known to be a perfectionist on his job sites.  His other passion was fishing at his favorite vacation spot every June in St. Germain, WI, with his nephews and nieces on Little St. Germain Lake.      

Flavius is survived by his wife Susan, sister, Verda and brother Paul, along with extended family. 

He was preceded in death by his father Paul Kuntz, Sr., his mother Carol Ann Hoge, step-father David E. Hoge and brother William P. (Bill) Kuntz.

He was dearly loved and will be missed by those who spent time with him.

A celebration of his life will be held in spring/summer 2019.  Per Flavius’ wishes, his ashes will be spread at his favorite fishing hole with his favorite pet Brodie. Further information will be available at a later date through the family.  Memorials made be directed to the Flavius Kuntz Memorial Fund through Summit Credit Union in Sun Prairie.
