Dennis W. Georgeson

Dennis Wayne Georgeson, 69 of Pardeeville, passed away peacefully Saturday, April 27, 2019 at St, Mary’s Hospital in Madison surrounded by his family.

He was born April 27, 1950 in Madison, the son of Eugene and Ruby (Scott) Werla. He was united in marriage to Kristine Anna Warnke November 10, 1973 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Pardeeville. Dennis and Kristine enjoyed 45 years of marriage. He worked for Giddings and Lewis Foundry for 10 years and for U.W. Hospital for 15 years. Dennis enjoyed watching stock car racing, classic car shows, hunting, having breakfast at local cafes with friends, and most importantly spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife Kristine; sons, Chad (Sharon) Georgeson and Dustin (Brooke) Georgeson; daughter Jillian (Kyle) Geltemeyer; grandchildren Michael and Benjamin Smith, Gretchen, Kenneth,and Clara Georgeson; mother Ruby Werla; sisters Shirley (Ted) Baltuch, Diane (Jim) Ciezadlo, and Laurie Hipwood;  brothers Don (Vicki) Werla and Mark (Natalie) Werla; in-laws Karl (Marcia) Warnke, Karen Walker, Debra (John) Whitesel, Jeff Warnke, and many nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father Eugene Werla; sister Barbara (Don) Mortenson; father and mother-in law Kenneth and Dorothy Warnke; brother-in-laws James Walker, Jim Nabors, and Kevin Hipwood.

Funeral services for Dennis will be held Friday, May 3, 2019 at 11 AM at St John’s Lutheran Church in Pardeeville with Rev. William Runke officiating. Interment will follow at Pardeeville Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, May 2 from 4 to 7 PM at Grasse Funeral Home, 119 Industrial Drive, Pardeeville, and from 10 AM until the time of services at the church Friday.
