Cecelia Pulver, 86 of Wyocena, passed away peacefully December 21, 2018 at home following a courageous two-year battle with pancreatic cancer.
She was born November 9, 1932 to Marvin and Mary (Molly) Haynes. She married Neil Pulver November 10, 1951 and they shared 65 years of marriage before Neil passed away December 11, 2016. Cecelia worked for the Pardeeville School District as a teacher’s aide for 38 years. She bowled and golfed for many years, right up until the age of 84. She loved spending time with her family. She also was an avid Brewers, Packers, and Badgers fan.
Survivors include her children Rhonda (Del Berndt) Deane, Rhoda (George) Satina, Brian (Roz) Pulver, and Patty Roehl; grandchildren Jennifer (Jason) Mortensen, Jillian (Kyle) Barber, April Deane-Smith, Sara (Zach Fera) Deane, Nicholas Satina, Nathan Satina, Jennifer (Chad) Goytowski, Jessica Pulver, Josh (Maria) Pulver, Elizabeth (Scott) Marquart, Travis (Aimee May) Roehl, Taylor (Randi) Roehl, and Samantha Vyvyan; great-grandchildren Alexandra, Brendan, Raegan, Halayna, Scott, Hank, Bodi, Joey, Wyatt, and one on the way; sister Margaret Pulver; In-laws Rhoda and Howard Barden, Elizabeth Haynes, and Joan Pulver, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Neil; son-in-law Terry Deane; grandchild Brianna Satina; great-grandchild Hunter Marquart; sisters Mary (Danny) Gray, Charlotte (Kenny) Scheel, and Katherine (Garth) Pulver; brothers: Marvin “Bud” Haynes, Jr. and John “Freck” Haynes; and in-laws Frances (Lyle) Mack, Ralph Pulver, and Glen Pulver.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 29 at 11 AM at Grasse Funeral Home, 119 Industrial Drive, Pardeeville. Interment will follow at Wyocena Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, December 28 from 4 to 8 PM and again from 10 AM until the time of services Saturday at the funeral home. A memorial fund will be established in Cecelia’s memory.
