103+, Wow! Our condolence to your families. Bertha was our first neighbor when we arrived in Rio in 1975 and we remember her fondly. Through her I was able to get to know more of her family whom she raised well and I'm grateful for the opportunity. Our sympathy to you all.

Our sincere sympathy to your family. We did not know Bertha was still living. What a life, what she must have seen in 103 years. My mother was Mrs Louis Grams of Cambria. she was the sister of Frank. I grew up with Gladys, that’s our connection. So sorry

Bertha was a very good friend of my mother-in-law (Norma Larson) and I heard a lot of stories of them driving together and working together at the canning factory. Shortly before Norma passed away, she thought I was Bertha and had a conversation about pork chops and applesauce and asked Bertha to stay for supper!
May wonderful memories bring smiles in the coming days.
