Ardyth J. Loga

Ardyth J. Loga, 96, of Pardeeville, passed away September 18, 2019, at the Remington House Care Facility in Pardeeville.

Ardyth was born June 14, 1923 in Madison, Wi, the daughter of Cornelius A. Landsness and Ameila C. (Johnson) Landsness. She was united in marriage to Thorbjorn T. Loga March 11, 1951, at Burke Lutheran Church in Madison. She grew up on a dairy farm by the Dane County Airport and attended Madison East High. School.  She worked as a bookkeeper at Morgan Plumbing Company in Madison

Ardyth was an exceptional cook, seamstress and loved to garden.  She would can vegetables and fruit, make jams, sauerkraut, and various Norwegian cookies and dishes. She was an active member of Burke Lutheran Church’s making quilts, lefsa, participated in women’s groups and various social events.

Ardyth and Thor loved to go camping and snowmobiling. Once retired they traveled seeing the USA visiting friends and family in their motorhome. She also loved to read, play cards (Euchre) and bird watching.  

She is survived by her daughter Kristine (David) Conway; granddaughters Brenda Conway and Lisa Loga; grandsons Jonathan (Carrie) Conway, Kelly Loga, and Christopher Loga; great grandson Wyatt Conway; great granddaughter Willow Conway, and other nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; son Fredrick B. Loga, and brothers Clifford Landsness and Bernard Landsness.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 28, 2019 at 11 AM at Burke Lutheran Church, 5720 Portage Road, Madison with Rev. Robert Neubert officiating. Burial will follow the service at the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10 AM until the time of service at the church. A luncheon will follow the burial.
