Käthe M Pulver

Mrs. Käthe M. Pulver, age 92 of Reedsburg, passed away peacefully March 22, 2024 at home. She was born September 24, 1931 in Germany to Heinrich Von der Ruhr and Josefine Offermans.

She married Hans J. Pulver  April 11, 1955 in Grotenrath, Germany. Käthe and her husband Hans moved from Germany to Chicago, IL in 1957. They also lived in Idaho for 7 years until they settled in Reedsburg in 1979. Käthe worked at the Sauk County Health Care Center from 1979 until her retirement in 2008.  She was a member of Sacred Heart Church. Käthe loved spoiling her grandson, spending time with family, watching tennis, playing board games, doing word searches, and watching Perry Mason before bed.

Survivors include her son Norbert (Michelle) Pulver; grandson Jonathan Pulver; and nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband of 38 years Hans J. Pulver; sister Nora Melchers; brothers Rudolf Von der Ruhr and Willi Von der Ruhr; and her mother and father Heinrich Von der Ruhr And Josefine Offermans.

Visitation will be held Friday March 29 from 4 PM to 6 PM at the Grasse Funeral Home in Reedsburg. Service will be held at 6 PM with Deacon Tom Hale officiating.

Käthe was a kind and loving person, who was fiercely devoted to her family. She was strong, independent, a great cook, kept active, and she loved german shepherds and cardinals. We will miss her sweet smile and loving presence.
