Garry Christopher Badgley of Randolph, Wi age 48, passed away on March 30th after suffering a stroke. Garry is survived by the love of his life his wife Marcia, son Kai, stepdaughter Ashley. His dog Banjo, and multiple snakes, lizards, and other critters.
Garry was born on October 7th, 1975 in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. In his early 20s, Garry immigrated to Wisconsin to pursue his baking career. He spent 20-some-odd years in the baking and grocery industries. He left the baking industry to pursue a career in security. This led him to his calling as a correctional officer at Dodge Correctional Institution, where he spent his remaining years. He was well-loved and respected by co-workers and inmates alike.
Garry was a positive force of good in the world who radiated joy whenever he walked into a room. Garry’s greatest joys were his family, friends, and making the most of every day. He loved music of all kinds and would often be found banging his head with an ear-to-ear grin.
There will be a Celebration of Garry’s life on April 27th, from 6:00pm til the party ends at Otter’s Inn in Randolph, Wisconsin. All are invited to bring smiles, joy, and memories of Garry to share with all.
Garry’s family would like to thank all their friends and co-workers for the incredible level of love and support throughout this tough time. Garry’s final act of kindness was to improve the lives of dozens of strangers by becoming an organ and tissue donor. Please consider registering as a donor.
