Greetings, dear family and friends of Mrs. Cooper. We are very sorry to hear of her passing and we send our sincerest sympathies to each of you during this difficult time. Mrs. Cooper's legacy of grace and kindness will continue in and through our shared stories, and act as a reminder for our actions going forward. It is no secret that Mrs. Cooper is my wife Mary's favorite teacher, with many heartfelt and lasting memories. I will always see Mrs. Cooper as the Good Neighbor; many laughs (and treats) shared between her and my grandparents during their time on Gillette Street. We are thankful for Mrs. Cooper's life and example on how to live a life of grace, and that we were able to tell her how much she was loved and meant to our family. May God continue to bless each of you, and provide His peace to you, today, and in all the days to come.

Dan, Linda, and Family,
What a lovely tribute. I'm confident you learned a lot from your book-loving, teaching, generous mom. Please let me know where I can send a memorial. My thoughts are with you,
Laura Jasper

I had the great fortune of working with Vivian at Pardeeville's elementary school. I was always very impressed with her methods of teaching and dealing with students. She was a great teacher and person. Vivian's legacy lives on in her family and friends and the many lives of so many students she worked with. She will be missed. Thoughts and prayers to the entire family.

When I was a very young girl, I was allowed to spend the night with my cousins, the Coopers and the morning after Mrs. Cooper, who was a really great mom made each of us a special breakfast. She asked us each what we wanted and then made that particular meal. I was so impressed that I got to choose my food. I adopted her style when I had my own kitchen and many decades later I still cook individual meals per request.
Blessings for the family, RIP dear cousin.

My sympathies to the Nancy, Jim and the entire Cooper family. My favorite memory of Vivian was the day before Nancy and Jim’s wedding, and I was at the Cooper home in Pardeeville. I was in the wedding party but years younger than the rest. I will always remember how she went out of her way to make sure I felt welcome and included.
May God Bless,
Don
