Roger D. Bredeson

Roger Dennis Bredeson, age 60 of Rio, passed away suddenly on Sunday, November 19, 2017 from a massive heart attack. 

He was born June 11, 1957 in Columbus, WI.  The son of Arnold M. and Helen A. (Frodel) Bredeson.  Roger graduated from Deforest High School class of 1976.  He worked for Webcrafters for over 40 years as a pressman.  Roger loved the outdoors. He enjoyed making many memories while fishing and hunting especially with his son Richard, daughter Mia, grandson Kayden and his cousin Dave.  He will be deeply missed by his many family and friends, including his children, Missy Bredeson (Tony Prestigiacomo), Richard Bredeson (Andrea Garza) and Mia Bredeson; his grandchildren, Lauren, Tessa, Kayden, Natalia, Ryder, Amalia and Zoey and by his sister Marilyn (Ken) Clevenger.  He is further survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at 11:00 am at SPRING PRAIRIE LUTHERAN CHURCH in Keyeser, N509 County Road C, De Forest, WI 53532 with Pastor Dan Biddick and Reverend Sylvia Lee-Thompson presiding. Burial will be at Spring Prairie Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 9 am until the time of the service on Saturday at the church. In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Roger’s name for a fund to be established.  The family asks to honor Roger if you could share a story or memory of him in writing and bring it with you to the services, they would like to put together a scrapbook of memories.  Online condolences may be made at www.grassefs.com Inspite of our loss of Roger, he will live on in others with the gift of life with organ and tissue donation.
