Lucille L. Skinner

Lucille L. Skinner, age 86 of Oxford, passed away Monday, July 3, 2017 at Divine Savior in Portage surrounded by her family.

She was born August 5, 1930 to Lawrence and Hazel (French) Finch in Lone Rock. She was united in marriage to Vere William Shreve May 2, 1949 in Whitewater, WI. They were blessed with two children Nancy Jean and Donald Lee. In the fall of 1976, she was united in marriage to Art Skinner. Over the years, Lucille babysat children, cleaned area businesses and help maintain the Cambria Park, and helped run the family farm. She enjoyed her cats and dogs, taking walks, and In her later years completing word searches.

Survivors include son Donald (Penelope) Shreve, grandchildren Wendy Jean Glaser, Ken, Lisa, and Cindy, great granddaughter Grace Rejoice St. Clair, three great grandsons, and one great great granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, and five siblings.  Her daughter Nancy Jean Kingsley passed away a few weeks after Lucille.

A memorial service for Lucille and her daughter Nancy will be held Sunday, August 6, 2017 at 4 PM at Oxford Seventh-day Adventist Church with Pastor Justin Spady officiating. Visitation will be held from 2 PM until the time of service at the church.  Grasse Funeral Service of Pardeeville is serving the family.
