James A. Crotty

James A. Crotty, age 75 of Wyocena, passed away peacefully Monday, September 25, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family after a long battle with dementia.

He was born June 7, 1942 to James P. and Avis M. (Reidy) Crotty in Milwaukee. He served an apprenticeship with the Milwaukee Road Railroad and ended his working career as an electrician with Kraft Foods in Beaver Dam. 

Survivors include his wife Mary of 49 years, children James C. Crotty, Jennifer Crotty (Effie), Andrew T. (Heidi) Crotty; four grandchildren DaKotah Crotty, Alexis Crotty, Abigail Crotty, and Kelby Crotty; two sisters Mary Margaret Liebenthal and Patricia (Frank) Glugla. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, September 30 at 11 AM at St. Faustina Parish in Pardeeville with Father Marcin Kordel presiding. Interment will follow at Wyocena Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9 AM until the time of services at the church.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Agrace Hospice. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Agrace Hospice for their loving care of Jim.
