Hans J. Kubik

Hans Jurgen Kubik, age 68 of Columbus, passed away from complications of an automobile accident Monday, May 1, 2017 at U.W. Hospital.

He was born January 13, 1949 in Germany to Karl and Gertrude Kubik. They moved to the United States when Hans was 12 years old. They lived in Bellwood, IL for many years. Hans traveled on his motorcycle all over the United States. He had a love and passion for riding motorcycles, driving truck, and visiting the mountains. He was a master machinist and made tool and die for many years until he drove truck. Hans was very active in Brothers MC for over 45 years. He was united in marriage to Diane Smith for 16 years and they were together for 21 years. They had three children together. After his marriage ended, he was engaged to his soul mate Mary Larson (Princess).

Hans is survived by his children Denise (Jason) Woody, John Kubik (Bettina Deberry), and Kevin (Lacey) Kubik 18 grandchilldren, fiancé Mary Larson, Brothers MC, two sisters Heidi Dods and Marles Harder, best friend and cousin Billy Baker and many other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, May 6 at 3 PM at Grasse Funeral Home in Pardeeville. Visitation will be held from 1 PM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his memory to the family.
